Ignite Oud EDP 60ml

I recently picked up Ignite Oud by Ahmad Al Maghribi with high hopes — but I found the scent much harsher than anticipated. The oud note, which I expected to be rich, smoky or woody, came off as overwhelmingly pungent instead of pleasantly intense. Rather than a complex, warm fragrance, it felt sharp and unbalanced.
The longevity is undeniably strong — the scent stays noticeable for hours — but that works against it when the fragrance remains loudly in the air for too long. I normally like perfumes that evolve over time, revealing depth and subtleties, but Ignite Oud lacked that nuanced transition. Instead, it stays in a fixed, aggressive potency that doesn’t mellow, which made me avoid wearing it.

Overall, Ignite Oud felt more exhausting than evocative: for me, it missed the elegance and depth often associated with oud perfumes. If you’re sensitive to powerful oud or strong notes, I’d suggest you sample it carefully before committing — this one didn’t suit my taste.
Fragrance forte was good that they sent the samples within the packaging. I have emailed them for my refund as the perfume is sealed, yet to hear from them for that as it is mentioned in their return policy.
